Welcome! My name is Nathan Smith, and I’m the founder and owner of Phase 2 Tactical. I’m a U.S. Army combat veteran who served five years on active duty.
This included a two-year tour in South Korea near the DMZ and a 13-month combat tour in Iraq. I was an Armor Crewman on the M1A1 Abrams Main Battle Tank, but I served in other roles as well.
Some of my awards and medals include the Global War on Terrorism Ribbon, the National Defense Ribbon, the Korean Service Ribbon, the Iraq Campaign Ribbon, the Good Conduct Medal, the Army Achievement Medal, the Army Commendation Medal, and the Combat Action Badge.
In short, I understand the unique challenges and complexities people face when considering a career in the military, getting the most out of their military service, and navigating life post-military.
